Universal electronic kits
Lafuente Universal Electronic Kits®
The latest electronic innovations applied to cars make it necessary to install compatibility electronic components when installing a towbar on such vehicles.
The Lafuente universal electrical kits offer a practical solution for mounting the towbar electrical installation in most passenger and commercial vehicles, being compatible with:
- BSI multiplexed cable systems (Lights with mixed voltages).
- CANBUS Data system.
- Check-Control (SFL lamp failure detection).
They adapt to the different lighting methods used in vehicle taillights.
Lafuente Electronic Kits®
They protect against possible breakdowns in the trailer, such as short circuits, and prevent any failure or overload in the vehicle, taking the powered directly from the battery, independently of the rest of the vehicle’s electrical installation.
Automatically disconnects the vehicle's fog lights when the trailer is towbared, avoiding reflections through the rear-view mirror, including cases in which the vehicle has fog lights and position multiplexed by a single cable, maintaining the position light
Supports lamps that perform a double function through a single cable (multiplexed systems).
The universal electronic kit, marketed by Lafuente®, is manufactured in accordance with Directive 95/54/EC, with the guarantee of having passed the following tests certified in Approved laboratories:
- Electromagnetic compatibility.
